The Twofour Group has been recognised as one of the UK’s Brightest Businesses in a Daily Telegraph poll.
1,000 private and Alternative Investment Market-listed companies, from farming to IT firms; restaurants and retailers; to construction groups and professional services have been identified as the hidden strengths in the battle against the UK recession.
The research was compiled with the help of innovation agency NESTA and verified by information specialists Dun and Bradstreet (D&B).
Mark Hawkins, Managing Director of the Twofour Group said: “As a group we have a strong culture around creativity, innovation and a ‘can do’ attitude which has been fundamental to our continued growth and investment in new and emerging markets. I am delighted this is being recognised.”
Roger Hodson, UK managing director at D&B said: “D&B is proud to be contributing to The Telegraph’s initiative of identifying firms that are not just surviving, but thriving in the current economic climate.
“It is often too easy to concentrate on the negatives – increased business failures, reduced profits, weakened financial strength, lengthened payment terms – and forget that many companies in the UK have faced up to the challenges, and with nimble and brave thinking have put their businesses in a great position to seize the opportunities that exist out there.”
The Twofour Group is a media company for a multi-channel world, a TV producer, digital agency and technology provider rolled into one. The Group helps global brands, broadcasters and public bodies to develop longer and more productive relationships with their audiences and clients using great content and technology.
